Jashan Ahuja is a Senior Principal Consultant in the Strategy and Transformation Practice of IBM Global Business Services who specializes in advanced financial accounting and handling of business assets. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University while minoring in Applied Economics and Management and completing concentrations in Physics and Computer Science. While at Cornell, he participated in the Cornell Human Flight Project—designing a structure for a 1-person flying vehicle—and in the Microgravity Project which tested the behavior of flux pinning behavior in super-cooled super conductors—ultimately applying for a NASA grant for use as joint systems in satellites. While at IBM, he was worked across clients in energy, hospitality, financial services, insurance, software and education. He has also won the IBM Services Excellence Award twice and recently completed work on a project with annual incomes over $500 million—designing a database to streamline its project operations. He has also worked extensively in London: both at C Hoare and Co Bank and the London Women’s Clinic. When he is not traveling domestically, or abroad, he is a mentor to new consultants in the Boston area and is a local lead for IBMers in Boston—establishing community outreach projects like working at soup kitchen or volunteering at the New England Zoo.
